Does fertility decrease after the age of 35?

Fertility generally starts to reduce after a woman is in her late 30’s or more after the age of 35 therefore the chances of getting pregnant in any monthly cycle after 35 is nearly about 5% that is very low. Chances of fertility drop down up to 10% in the ’30s and later that number goes down up to 5% per month in her 40’s. so eventually result in a decrease in fertility but always begin well till menopause. Pregnancy in the late ’30s is termed as ‘Geriatric pregnancy” a rarely used term. The reason for fertility decline after the age of 35 is there are main two factors there is a decrease in egg count as women lose eggs each month.
