- Incomplete miscarriage - In this case the woman experience severe pain and heavy bleeding in the lower abdomen. It is called as incomplete because only part of the foetus comes out and ultrasound is done to diagnose such situations.
- Inevitable miscarriage – In this condition the cervix opens and continues to bleed and eventually causes the foetus to come out. During this period, the woman experience frequent stomach cramps.
- Septic miscarriage – This occurs due to any kind of infection in the abdomen.
